LVA’s Plein Air Paint Out is the perfect event while social distancing! All artists are set up no less than 20 ft apart from each other. Masks are required during entering the property until you are secured at your painting spot. Once you are stationed you may remove your mask and start painting. Painting ends at 2:00pm which is when the ReGeneration fair opens to the public. The jurying of the paintings is from 2–2:30.
LVA’s Plein Air Paint Out will be taking place from 8am – 2 pm, with awards at 3 pm.
The annual, free, family-friendly environmental fair is back again!
The ReGeneration Fair includes: T-shirt printing with Steam Exchange, make your own paper flower, plant printing, Beekeeping featuring Cave Hill Honey, Food Literacy Project plant seedling giveaway, a bug costume parade, a ladybug release, entertainment from Sky’s the Limit Stilt Walking and Squallis Puppeteers, and refreshing treats from Steel City Pops and Fante’s Coffee.
Please note that we’re doing things a little differently this year:
All booths will be spaced to manage crowds and promote social distancing.
Masks are required for all staff, guests, and vendors on the grounds.
Hand sanitizing stations will be positioned at multiple locations throughout the fair.
Artist participation fee: $35 LVA members, $50 non-members | $50 at the door (while canvases last), registrations are non-refundable.

Your Paint Out participation fee covers one 12" x 12" canvas or watercolor paper, entry into the contest and entrance to the ReGeneration Fair at the Waterfront Botanical Gardens.
A 12" x 12" canvas or watercolor paper will be provided - artists are asked to bring their media of choice to paint with. Artists are responsible for their own easel (if desired). Canvases and paper will be handed out during check-in the morning of the event. Check-in will be at entrance of the Botanical Gardens
There will be a 70/30 split of artwork sold, with the artist receiving 70% of the sale. The 30% of the sale benefits LVA's Children's Fine Art Classes.
1st place award – $1,000
2nd place award – $500
3rd place award – $250

2:00pm – ReGeneration Fair opens to the public
2:00pm – Paintings will be turned in for judging
2:30pm – Award presentation
2:30-4:00pm – Sale of paintings
2:00-5:00pm – ReGeneration Fair (open to the public)
