Forget about Bermuda, have you witnessed the Portland Triangle?! Formed by three of our most historic buildings – The US Marine Hospital, The Portland Museum and The Dolfinger School – our triangle hasn’t been prominently featured in any sappy 80s Beach Boys hits, probably only because “Portland” doesn’t rhyme with “come on pretty mama”.
Enough talk about tropical contact highs, it’s time to announce the Fifth Annual Portland Art & Heritage Fair (PAHF)! Set your calendars for Saturday, September 29th as we once again invite you to come celebrate the creativity and the history of our neighborhood with us.
We’ll be announcing details that you’ll wanna catch a glimpse of, as the date approaches. Rest assured PAHF 2018 will put a dreamy look in the eye of your entire family! Packed full of history, heritage and ephemera from the walls of Portland’s historic buildings – the Portland Museum will engage you with archeology, art and history. You’ll learn something and you’ll be having so much fun you won’t even know it
Artists roam the halls of the Dolfinger Building. Their work is tucked into every nook and cranny of this building that was once a school.
You can almost (almost) hear the footsteps of the many sailors and soldiers who recovered from their ailments in the Marine Hospital. You can also check out the juried art show compliments of Louisville Visual Art and enjoy some food, beverages and music.
