Louis Robert Thompson was born in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. He is an actor, singer, and dancer best known for his role as the Veterinarian in Sundance Film Festival breakout The Art of Self Defense. He is also a fixture in the Louisville theater community starring in roles such as Coach in Ghost, John Henry in American Tales, and Xerxes in Esther The Musical.
