Karl Anderson is a freelance visual artist/painter and theatrical scenic designer. He has worked for Actors Theatre of Louiville, Stage One Family Theatre, Pandora Productions, and Kentucky Shakespeare, among many others. "Kaleidoscope", an exhibit of his newest work as a visual artist will open at Kore Gallery on August 2 with a reception from 6 - 8:30 pm.

Abstract Landscapes: a New Look by Chris Hartsfield will also be opening at that time.

Patrick Donley is a sculptor, musician, and "whim-sologist".  He made his reputation through colorful, collage-laden, abstract paintings. In the late 90's, he took a break from visual art to perform and record with the band Jakeleg.  After that he switched gears, and began producing wall-mounted, found-object sculptures.  His last body of work, The Memento Series, represented an attempt to marry his love of paint with his vast, obsessive collection of found objects and photos.  That melding of two and three dimensions, emblematic of a need to create order out of chaos is further discovered in his latest project.

Julio Cesar Rodríguez Aguilar was born in 1976 in Holguin, Cuba. Enthusiastic about drawing from a very early age,  he studied at the Vocational School of Art Raúl Gómez Garcia, and the Professional Academy of Visual Arts in Holguin, graduating in the specialty of Painting, Drawing, Photography and Artistic Weaving in 1995. Julio also became a professor of the arts and has experience in book illustration, stage and costume design, muralism, and more. 

His new solo show, Perpetual Contours, opens at Revelry Gallery on August 6 with a reception that evening 6-9 pm.
